The Blues Revue reader is, in general profile: settled, financially secure, well-educated, and capable and willing to spend a good portion of his/her income on their musical passion. Blues Revue is their primary source of information for what's happening in the blues world. 87% of Blues Revue readers are between the ages of 35 and 54. 67% are college graduates. 52% earn in excess of $60,000 per year. 50% spend in excess of $500 yearly on their blues listening habits. 68% are musicians, with 85% of those playing guitar or bass. 41% of our musician readership will spend in excess of $500 this coming year on performance-related equipment.

Frequency rates
Frequency rates are determined by the number of display insertions appearing within a 12-month period from the date of the first insertion. An advertising schedule of mixed-size ads may be used to earn a frequency discount. Unfulfilled contracts will be short-rated to the applicable frequency rate.

Payment
Current advertisers: net 30 days after invoice date. New advertisers must prepay first insertion. Credit card (VISA/MC/AMEX), check (US funds on a US bank), or IMO accepted.

Special positioning
Preferred positions for 1/3 page or larger will be given when possible at an additional 10% charge of space rate.

Late fees
Advertisers must notify Blues Revue of any changes to material before the ad due date. Changes made after that date, or materials that arrive late, will incur a printer-specified fee of $50 per B&W ad and $125 per color ad.

Multiple-issue contracts
Blues Revue will rerun ads on multiple-issue contracts unless notified of changes by the advertiser before the ad due date.

Cancellation
All cancellations must be made in writing and will not be accepted after reserve date. Invoices will be issued on unused reserved space.

Copy acceptance
All copy is subject to publisher's approval. On advertising copy that simulates editorial layout and appearance, publisher reserves the right to identify as "advertisement" by publisher-set type line.

Specifications
Ads that do not meet printer standards will incur charges. These charges, along with any production fees, will be passed along to the advertiser.

Production fee scale for electronic ads that do not meet Specifications:
Minor adjustments of up to 1/2 hour = $75.
In-depth adjustments of 1/2 hour to 1 hour = $150.
For adjustments in excess of 1 hour, the customer will be contacted prior to any rework for approval.
